I’d rather express my feelings than illustrate them. I am more at ease moving around my paintings viewing them from all four sides and so I prefer to work on the floor. This allows me to feel closer and listen more intimately to each painting. When I am painting I am not always aware of what I am doing, I just.. paint. It doesn’t always matter how I apply the paint as long as it feels right in the moment. It’s only after I get acquainted with each painting that it starts to reveal what it wants to be.

When I paint I feel... happy. It heals my soul to move around to music as I work on multiple pieces at a time. When a painting stops telling me it needs more, I move it into my home and live with it. It always tells me when it’s ready.
